Jilamara Arts and Crafts Association is located in the community of Milikapiti on Melville Island in the Tiwi Islands. Jilamara artists are known for their traditional Tiwi style, producing contemporary works based on ceremonial body painting designs, clan totems and Tiwi creation stories. The Tiwi palette of red, yellow, white and black is made from natural ochre pigments collected on Country around Melville Island.

Shipping policy

Artwork price includes shipping within Australia. Please contact us for international orders.

 

Refund policy

Refunds will be considered on a case-by-case basis. All artworks are covered by transit insurance and should damage occur in transit the customer will be offered the options to repair, exchange or refund the work.

Return policy

  • Darwin Aboriginal Art Fair takes no responsibility for the cancellation, return or exchange of any purchases made at the 2022 online Darwin Aboriginal Art Fair. All cancellations, returns or exchange requests must be directed to the Art Centre/Vendor where the purchase was made.
